Jody Bauer is a Nationally Board Certified Licensed Massage Therapist.

She received her initial massage training at SunCoast School of Massage Therapy in Tampa, FL. Since that time, she has taken numerous Continuing Education classes to enhance her knowledge & skill level. One of the most recent additions to her collection is Kinesiology Taping .

Jody has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 25+ years. She has been licensed previously in Florida and Illinois, and, currently holds a license for Tennessee as well as being Nationally Board Certified.

She began her career working with a Chiropractor in Tampa, and has continued to work with Chiropractors since that time. Having worked with Chiropractors extensively, Jody has developed her skills in working with clients suffering from various neck, back, leg, hip ailments...from headaches to sciatic pain.  She has also worked with athletes ranging from weekend warriors to marathon runners.

Why I do What I do.....

I have always had an interest in helping people to "feel" better. In fact, when people from High School learned that I was a Massage Therapist, many would recount episodes from High School days of me massaging their necks or backs.

I went off to college to study Nursing & discovered it was not the right career choice for me. I changed majors, graduated, went into the working world where a co-worker directed me to my true calling....that of a Massage Therapist.

I thoroughly enjoy being able to help people live a healthier & more pain free life....without the stress of being in the mainstream medical field.

Working with people through Massage Therapy has enabled me to introduce my clients to new forms of bodywork, such as Hot Stone Therapy, Therapeutic Massage, Chair Massage,  & Kinesiology Taping, Cupping. I also am able to encourage wellness through regular stretching & exercise, and, other lifestyle changes.

I look forward to many, many more years of helping to improve the lives around me & in my community.
